Starsong

This is a passion project being solo-developed by me (Shoodii). It's inspired by games such as: Undertale/Deltarune, Earthbound/Mother, and Crash Bandicoot. Here's the plot (no spoilers).

You play as Sam, a rather reserved and *quiet college student, who is now currently trapped in a world they have never seen before. Their only means of escape is allying with some helpful, albeit incredibly weird, creatures. They'll have to undergo several dangerous tasks to do so, such as fighting, solving puzzles, and their worst enemy...

JUMPING.

Will they find a way home? Will they ever see their family again?! WILL THEY BE ABLE TO TURN IN THAT ESSAY DUE NEXT FRIDAY!?!

(Please keep in mind that in the days of this game being completed I encountered  multiple issues with the version of GMS2 I had been coding the game on, therefore not only may there be some bugs that I'm unaware of, but the game itself may feel a bit fast paced towards the end. I apologize for this inconvenience and I will most likely be switching to Godot after this. Thank you for reading, and thank you so much for playing.)
